Pres. Boakai Declares Sunday, June 23, “Nat’l Public Service Day”…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The official program befitting the observance of National Public Service Day gets underway in the coming hours at the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town.

It followed a Proclamation by President Joseph Boakai, declaring Sunday, as “National Public Service Day”, to be observed today, Monday, June 24, 2024, as a Working Holiday.

A Foreign Ministry release issued over the weekend said the Day will serve as a national platform for the public service to showcase best practices and innovations at workplaces in service delivery.

According to the release, President Joseph Boakai is expected to deliver a special message as National Orator, in honor of persons who dedicated their professional and productive lives to serving the Liberia Public Service.
