University of Liberia Board of Committee Chair Calls on Faculty to Remain Calm…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The University of Liberia (UL) Board of Committee Chair, Senator Numene Bartekwa, is calling on the faculty to remain calm and resume normal activities at the institution.

Senator Bartekwa’s appeal comes amid the ongoing go-slow actions by the UL faculty members.

He made the call on Thursday, June 20, 2024, in an ELBC interview following the Committee’s meeting with President Joseph Boakai at the Executive Mansion.

Senator Bartekwa reaffirmed the Committee’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and conducive working environment at the nation’s higher institution of learning.

The Board of Committee Chair also reiterated President Boakai’s interest in the University by ensuring that the student’s educational quest is not derailed by persistent conflicts at the state-run University.
