Justice Minister Oswald Reaffirms Gov.’s Support to Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Justice Minister Oswald Tweh has reaffirmed the support of the Liberian Government to the work of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC).

Cllr. Tweh said:” The LACC has got the full backing of President Joseph Boakai in the fight against corruption across the country.’ Political will’ is the main support any responsible government gives integrity institutions such as the LACC, in a bid to promote transparency.”

The Attorney General was speaking on Monday, June 10, 2024, during the start of a three-day training of Investigators, Corruption Prevention Officers, and Legal Officers on enabling Anti-Corruption Legislation.

Justice Minister Oswald Tweh, at the same time, called for deep inter-agency collaboration and public engagements in the fight against corruption, saying that no single agency can succeed in doing it alone.
