Liberia Electricity Corporation to Boost State Broadcaster’s Power Supply Network

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) has committed to boosting the Liberia Broadcasting System’s power supply network by providing a 500VA Transformer.

The move followed a request by the LBS Management, headed by Director General Eugene Fahngon.

The extension of the 22Kv electric network and installation of the 500kva transformer will be entirely financed by the LEC.

LBS Director General Eugene Fahngon said:” The latest intervention by the LEC will ensure stable power supply from the national grid to the State Broadcaster.”

The upgrade of the LBS electric network will see all facilities and equipment powered without any fluctuation.

Meanwhile, the Liberia Broadcasting System Management has lauded the Liberia Electricity Corporation for its commitment to give the state broadcaster a crucial lift.
