Pres. Boakai Cautions Cabinet at First Retreat

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has cautioned the Cabinet to work in one accord to address economic and social challenges confronting the country.

President Boakai said that a united Cabinet is crucial to accelerating national growth and development and that the Cabinet should rise above complacency and work harder to achieve the Government’s ARREST Agenda.

The Liberian Leader noted that the Government will endeavor to meet the needs and aspirations of the Liberian people, despite global challenges.

President Joseph Boakai sounded the caution on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the start of a three-day Cabinet Retreat at the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, in Monrovia.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Liberian Cabinet, Nathaniel Kwabo, has described the Cabinet as an integral part of the Liberian Government to achieve its integrated goals.

Mr. Kwabo said:” A coordinated Cabinet will aid the Government to implement programs and policies that are geared toward effecting change.”

He said the retreat is among other gatherings aimed at reinforcing the President’s Agenda on the formulation of the New Development Plan of the Government.

The retreat brings together members of the Cabinet and is being held under the theme:” Coordination and Performance; delivering on National Agenda Priorities.”
