MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Deputy Foreign Minister has reassured China of Liberia’s unwavering commitment to the One-China Policy.

Minister Deweh Gray emphasized that Liberia will continue to expand development cooperation with China in various areas, including agriculture, road, rule of law, education, sanitation, and tourism.

Cllr. Gray recounted that Liberia and China have witnessed significant progress in their friendship and cooperation, particularly since the reestablishment of relations between the two Governments.

According to a Foreign Ministry release issued recently, the Deputy Foreign Minister also described China’s role in global affairs, particularly in Africa’s development, as commendable.

Minister Deweh Gray said:” The leadership of President Xi Jinping has strengthened China-Liberia relations and provided enormous support to Liberia in key sectors, including health, education, infrastructural development, investment and the trade sectors.”
