Gov. of Liberia Defends One Hundred-Day Deliverables Record

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has defended its report of seventy-four percent achievement in President Joseph Boakai’s One Hundred-Day Deliverables.

This latest report contradicted an earlier report by the National Youth Movement for Transparency Elections that the Government achieved eight percent under its deliverables.

Deputy Information Minister for Technical Services, Daniel Sando, and Assistant Minister for Information Services, Matthew Nyenplue, said the Government’s report is clear, realistic, and visible to the public.

Ministers Sando and Nyenplue said:” The Government was able to deliver on its commitment towards the realization of major priority areas, including road rehabilitation across the Country.”

They also named the incorporation of ten thousand youth into its ITC study, completion of the agriculture census, data collection, and the national agriculture plan as some of the achievements under the Government’s Hundred-Day Deliverables.

Ministers Sando and Nyenplue highlighted the fight against drug abuse, sanitation works around Monrovia, payment of arrears of WASSCE, the drafting of the Tourism bill for legislative action, and settlement of unpaid arrears for Liberian students studying abroad, among others.
