“Hold Concession Companies to Account…”-Chief Allen

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairman Emeritus of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) wants the Government of Liberia to hold all concession companies to account for their Mineral Development Agreements (MDA).

Chief Cyril Allen’s statement comes after the suspension of Western Cluster’s Road Permit by the Government through the Public Works Ministry.

Chief Allen blamed the National Legislature for failure to do an annual review of concession agreements to ensure that they satisfy promises made to the people.

The NPP Chairman Emeritus believes constant checkmating of concession companies will ensure that they deliver on the terms and conditions of the MDAs.

Chief Cyril Allen said:” For Liberia to experience the needed changes, concession companies must create the jobs and improve the living conditions within their operation areas.”
