Pres. Boakai Welcomes Supreme Court’s Ruling…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has welcomed the Supreme Court’s ruling, relative to recent nominations at some Government institutions.

An Executive Mansion statement issued on Thursday, April 25, 2024, said the President reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the rule of law and will honor the ruling of the Court.

The Liberian Leader believes that strict adherence to the rule of law is fundamental to strengthening institutions and building a vibrant democracy.

President Boakai reemphasized that such principle is at the core of his Government’s ARREST Agenda which focuses on Agriculture, Roads, the Rule of Law, Education, Sanitation, and Tourism.

The Liberian Leader, however, pointed out that the ruling also sets a significant benchmark for administrative actions, which will have far-reaching implications for all Government agencies and the Country as a whole.
