MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has congratulated Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye on his victory as President-elect of Senegal.

According to a Foreign Ministry release issued recently, President Boakai, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia and in his name, extended heartfelt compliments to Mr. Faye on his successful election to his Country’s highest office.

The Liberian also assured his Senegalese counterpart of his constant readiness to work with him towards maintaining and consolidating the excellent relations existing between the two countries and people.

The Liberian Leader then wished President-elect Faye success in the discharge of his duties and prayed that God Almighty grants him wisdom and fortitude to lead the great people of Senegal to prosperity and happiness.
