Rice Importers Asso. Donates to Police and Armed Forces of Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Rice Importers Association of Liberia has donated more than five hundred 25kg bags of rice to the Liberia National Police (LNP) and the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL).

It followed negotiation by Commerce Minister Amin Modad as part of the Rice Importers’ cooperate social responsibility to the Government of Liberia.

Making the presentation on behalf of the Government on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Monrovia, Commerce Minister Modad said:” The donation is in the spirit of collaboration with relevant partners.”

Responding, Police Inspector General, Col. Gregory Coleman described the donation as timely, assuring of a transparent distribution process.

Col. Coleman lauded Minister Modad and the Rice Importers Association for the gesture, adding that his administration will explore every positive means and effort to motivate officers of the Liberia National Police.
