Police in Grand Gedeh County Probe 25-Yr. Old Man for Alleged Rape

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Police in Grand Gedeh County is investigating a twenty-five-year-old man for allegedly raping a fifteen-year-old girl.

Suspect Dennis Nyemah reportedly carried out the act in the home of the victim in Gbagbaville, and the victim’s mother alarmed over the incident upon her arrival home prompting residents of the community to alert the police, but the suspect escaped the scene.

Suspect Nyemah was later apprehended by the residents and turned over to the police for investigation.

The suspected rapist has since denied the allegation, but a medical report from the Martha Tubman Memorial Hospital in Grand Gedeh County indicates that the girl was tampered with.
