Nat’l Port Authority New Boss Swears to Restore Entity to Pre-War Status

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Port Authority (NPA) Managing Director has vowed to restore the NPA to its pre-war status.

Mr. Sekou Dukuly said:” Maximizing productivity is crucial to the restoration and vibrancy of the NPA.”

Speaking when he officially took office on Monday, February 5, 2024, Mr. Dukuly promised to create opportunities for the improvement of revenue generation and make employees’ welfare paramount, rallying them to put in more effort on the job.

The new National Port Authority Boss then lauded President Joseph Boakai for his preferment and promised to deliver on the President’s AREST Agenda.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dukuly has refuted reports of mass dismissal at the NPA, adding that he has no plan to go on a sacking spree as being wrongly perceived in some quarters of Liberian society.

He, however, said:” My team will demand performance optimization from employees of the Port, and lead a united workforce void of political meddling and interest.”
