MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Health Minister Designate has described health financing as the surest way to revitalize the Country’s Health Sector.

Dr. Louise Kpoto said:” The current budget for health cannot solve many challenges the Sector is faced with.”

Dr. Kpoto said: “If confirmed, my team will implore new ways by galvanizing external resources to solve Liberia’s health deficit, and also implement the health insurance scheme program.”

The Health Minister Designate, Dr. Louise Kpoto, was speaking on Monday, February 5, 2024, during her confirmation hearing at the Liberian Senate, on Capitol Hill in Monrovia.
