Internal Audit Agency to Commission Special Audit…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Internal Audit Agency (IAA) is expected to commission a special audit on Inauguration soon.

IAA Director General David Kemah said:” The institution will review the financial and operational activities of the inauguration and submit a comprehensive report to President Joseph Boakai.”

He said:” The IAA audit will establish how much money was allotted for the recent inauguration, and how the fund was expended, in keeping with its mandate.”

According to Mr. Kemah, the auditing of national events is also part of the IAA’s constitutional mandate.

The Internal Audit Agency Boss, David Kemah, said:” The decision to audit the Inaugural Committee is not motivated by any factor, but a fulfillment of the Agency’s statutory mandate.”
