Second Judicial Circuit Court in Grand Bassa County Sentences 25-Year-Old Man…

GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Second Judicial Circuit Court in Grand Bassa County has sentenced a 25-year-old man to twenty years for murder.

Judge Joe Barkon of the Second Judicial Circuit Court announced the sentencing on Monday, January 15, 2024.

In December last year, trial Jurors found Prince Mentoe guilty of murdering his friend, identified as Jeremiah Goffa.

Convict Mentoe reportedly stabbed the victim multiple times at an entertainment center in the New Buchanan Community.

ELBC Correspondent said the Defendant is an eleventh-grade student of the Bassa High School in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
