Female Journalists Association of Liberia Goes to the Polls Today

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Members of the Female Journalists Association of Liberia (FeJAL) are going to the polls today, Friday, to elect a new corps of officers to steer the affairs of the organization, following a debate on Thursday.

Those vying for the Presidency are Lisa Diasay and Dennise Nimpson.

Journalists Oretha Bundoo and Vivian Nah-Mulbah are also vying for the Vice Presidency, while Famatta Thomas and Patience Baye Kromah are contesting for the Secretary and Financial Secretary positions.

Presidential Candidate, Lisa Diasay, has vowed to digitalize the association and train more women journalists, if elected.

For her part, Denise Nimpson vowed to provide mentorship and capacity building for women journalists across the country.
