Pres. Weah Sends Condolence Message to Pres. Biden…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has sent a condolence message to President Joe Biden and the people of the United States on the death of former First Lady, Mrs. Rosalynn Carter.

The wife of former President Jimmy Carter died on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the age of 96.

According to a Foreign Ministry release issued recently, President Weah, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, expressed sadness over the passing of the former First Lady and urged the American people, particularly the bereaved family, to take solace in the Lord.

The Liberian Leader then prayed that the Almighty God would grant President Joe Biden and the resilient people of the United States, faith during this difficult period of national distress and mourning.
