Foreign Ministry Expresses Concern over Video Recording of Madam Wynee Cummings-Wilson

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Foreign Ministry has expressed concern over claims in a video recording of Madam Wynee Cummings Wilson, a former apprentice at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, of being an employee of the Mission.

Madam Cummings-Wilson, in a social media video, stated that she is an employee of the Permanent Mission and is being witch-hunted by authorities at the Foreign Ministry.

A Foreign Ministry release issued recently has clarified that Madam Cummings-Wilson was not an employee of the Permanent Mission to the UN.

The release noted that she was an apprentice who failed to meet up with the June 30 submission deadline of legal documents to regularize her status for employment.

The Foreign Ministry urged Madam Wynee Cummings-Wilson to focus on regularizing her immigration status in the United States and desist from using authorities at the Ministry as scapegoats.
