Nat’l Elections Commission Urges Political Parties, Candidates to Deploy Representatives…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) of Liberia is urging registered political parties and candidates to deploy representatives at various polling places, during the October 10 Elections.

NEC Director for the Field Coordinator, Deddeh Pusah, said:” The move is to ensure credibility and transparency in the post-election physical tallying process.”

Madam Pusah sounded the caution on Thursday, October 5, 2023, on the program, “Elections and You” on ELBC Radio.

She disclosed that the first two winners at every polling place will be issued copies of the result sheet after physical counting.

Madam Deddeh Pusah said:” The result sheet of each polling place will be published at the same location for public viewing to constitute the record of the count.”
