Nat’l Elections Commission Concludes Two-Day Political Dialogue…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) has concluded a two-day political dialogue with more than sixty youth and political party representatives from five counties.

NEC Commissioner Boakai Dukuly said:” The exercise was aimed at broadening the minds of young people to denounce electoral violence.”

Mr. Dukuly told the participants that the peace of the country rests in the hands of all citizens and they must ensure the protection of the country’s peace.

Also speaking, NEC Upper Nimba County Magistrate Milton Paye, cautioned the participants to serve as messengers of peace during the electoral period.

Meanwhile, participants of the two-day dialogue have committed to protecting the country’s peace during and after the elections.
