LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Standard Bearer of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), President George Weah, was on Monday received by thousands of citizens of Lofa County.

The impressive turnout of citizens and supporters across different political rallies in Lofa County has reportedly given a twist to the long-held perception that the county is reserved for the opposition.

The Liberian Leader and the CDC are said to be winning the hearts of citizens of a county aiming to undo the defeat suffered by the party during the 2017 elections.

On Monday, September 25, 2023, thousands of citizens trooped to towns and villages, from Beyan Town to Salayea and then to Zorzor to welcome President Weah.

The citizens did not only express their loyalty and support with a massive turnout, but they also assured him of their unflinching commitment to his re-election.

Those making the commitment include thousands of first-time voters who showered praises on the President for removing financial burdens off the shoulders of their parents through his Education Policy.
