Foreign Ministry Dismisses Newspaper Reports against Minister Kemayah as Misleading…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Foreign Ministry has termed recent newspaper reports as misleading and diabolical campaigns against Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah.

Stories published by the Oracle Newspaper and Independent Probe were captioned “Kemayah Confirms Visa Revocation”, and ‘21,000 US Dollars United Nations General Assembly Corruption Ghost Hunts Kemayah’, respectively.

The Ministry said:” Those publications are malicious and politically motivated by a longtime failed ‘take down’ campaign against Ambassador Kemayah.”

The release added that at no time did the Minister grant an interview or engage in any conversation with any of the two newspapers.

It clarified that upon the approval and consent of President George Weah, Amb. Kemayah traveled to London and received emergency medical attention from September 18 to the 22nd.

The Foreign Ministry also clarified that Amb. Kemayah did not receive and travel with 21,000 US dollars, as maliciously reported by two papers.
