“Liberia supports diplomatic and peaceful settlement of Niger’s political crisis…”-Minister Rennie

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Information Minister Ledgerhood Rennie says Liberia supports diplomatic and peaceful settlement of the political crisis in Niger, as opposed to military intervention.

Minister, however, praised ECOWAS and the International Community for relaxing the issue of military intervention by pursuing diplomatic means to resolve the matter.

He reaffirmed Liberia’s support for the decision of ECOWAS in resolving the political impasse in Niger and restore democratic order in that West African Country.
