Gov. to Begin At-Risk-Youth Emergency Response Across the Country

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government will on Monday begin the At-Risk-Youth Emergency Response across the country.

Youth and Sports Minister Zeogar Wilson said:” Beneficiaries will be screened and treated against underlying illnesses before talking to the rehabilitation centers.”

Minister Wilson told MICAT press briefing on Thursday, August 17, 2023, that several institutions have been selected to do the screening, and encouraged At-Risk-Youth in the country to take advantage of the program.

He said the screening will take place at the Liberia Association of Psychosocial Services, Gboyou Foundation Global Initiative, Kemalay Youth for Jesus Christ, Joining against Violence, Liberia Ex-Record Foundation, and Destiny Recovery Center, in Montserrado County.

While in Margi and Bomi Counties, the screening will take place at the Samuel Grant Center and the Network for Empowerment and Progressive Incorporated.
