Pres. Weah Sends Condolence Message to Gov. and People of Ivory Coast

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has sent a message of condolence to the Government and people of the Ivory Coast, following the death of former President Henry Konan Bedie.

Mr. Bedie died on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at age eighty-nine.

In his message to Ivoirian President Alassane Ouattara, the Liberian Leader extended heartfelt condolences to the Ivoirian people, particularly the bereaved family for the irreparable loss sustained.

The Liberian Leader then prayed and hoped that the Almighty God will grant President Ouattara and the Ivoirian people comfort and fortitude during this difficult period of national mourning.
