Pres. Weah hails Liberia’s Peaceful, Democratic Credentials

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has hailed Liberia’s peaceful and democratic credentials over the years.

President Weah credited such achievements to the resilience of Liberians amid the challenges and recounted that during the difficult times of the country, Liberians held together making the country more peaceful and democratic.

The President’s comments are contained in his Independence Day greetings published in the official program notes on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

He reminded Liberians about their resolve to solidify the peace, noting that the October elections will be the test of such commitment.
