Pres. Weah Expresses Disappointment…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George has expressed disappointment over the shunning of key national ceremonies by officials of the opposition community.

President Weah said:” Such attitude of staying away from national programs is a disincentive to building national reconciliation and peace.”

The Liberian Leader made specific reference to the absence of opposition members from ongoing events commemorating the 176th Independence Anniversary of the country.

He spoke on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at a program marking the 176th Independence Anniversary of Liberia at the Philadelphia Central Church in Monrovia.

President George Weah said such an attitude was anti-peace and for people seeking national leadership.
