MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah congratulated the Government and people of the United States of America on the occasion marking the 247th Independence Anniversary of that country on July 4.
In his message to US President Joe Biden, President Weah said:” As the US commemorates another milestone in its existence, the historic bond of friendship and cooperation subsisting between the two countries and peoples will continue to enhance.”
According to a Foreign Ministry release issued, President Weah noted that as Liberia’s closest partner, Liberia will continue to positively engage the US to strengthen their strong bilateral framework in achieving sustained international peace and security.
The Liberian Leader then wishes for President Joe Biden’s personal well-being and continued wisdom, as he leads his people on the continued irreversible path to sustained peace, stability, and prosperity.
