Gov. and African Dev. Bank to Convert Liberia’s Forest Potential…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Deputy Finance Minister for Economic Affairs Management, August Flomo, says modalities have been worked out with the African Development Bank to convert Liberia’s forest potential into real opportunities.

Minister Flomo said:” The move would help the Liberian Government generate additional resources to address the economic needs of the ordinary people”.

He spoke on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, on ELBC Super Morning Show, following the African Development Bank Annual Meeting in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Minister Augustus Flomo said:” The African Development Bank has also agreed to work along with the Government of Liberia to do a feasibility study on the Viar River to do hydropower to increase the current power supply in the country”.
