MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A group under the banner “Staunch Members of the Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence’s Faction of the Liberty Party” has expressed concern over the recent political rally organized in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

A release issued recently said Senator Karnga-Lawrence claimed that her faction of the Party has endorsed the presidential bid of Mr. Joseph Boakai is out of order.

The Chairman of the group, Surprise Weah, said its members distanced themselves from such an endorsement.

The group said:” Senator Karnga-Lawrence’s action is only intended to create more confusion within the Liberty Party (LP) and deepen the already existing internal problems”.

It added that the Senator is one of those charged with the responsibility to resolve conflicts in Keeping with reconciliation, instead of escalating tension.
