MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Former Deputy Foreign Minister of Liberia is urging the Liberian Government to fill vacant strategic Foreign Service posts across the world.

According to Mr. Elias Shoniyin, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar in the Middle East are strategic areas that are still vacant.

Mr. Shoniyin told ELC Super Morning Show on Thursday, May 11, 2023, that the Country stands to benefit from direct foreign investments from those countries if proper representations are present.

He is also calling for more support to those areas, where the Country could reap immense benefits from enhanced bilateral cooperation.

Meanwhile, the former Deputy Foreign Minister has lauded the Liberian Government for staying on track with the development diplomacy approach developed by the past administration.
