Education Authorities lack logistical support in Gbarpolu County

GBARPOLU COUNTY, LIBERIA-Education Authorities in Gbarpolu County have decried the lack of logistical support to enhance supervision in public schools.

The Authorities, through the District Education Officer, are requesting motorbikes for the purpose of monitoring public schools in the County.

ELBC Gbarpolu County Correspondent quotes the Resident District Education Officer, Larter Bimah, as saying most often they use commercial bikes to tour schools at their own expense.

Meanwhile, the Principal of the Henry Town Public School, Minikon Hinneh, has been suspended for a time indefinitely.

Our Correspondent said Principal Hinneh was suspended by the District Education Officer for administrative reasons.
