Police Launch Man Hunt for 37-Year Old Man for Alleged Killing His Best Friend

BUCHANAN, GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Police in Grand Bassa County have launched a manhunt for a thirty-seven-year-old only identified as J. Martin for allegedly killing his best friend, Ujay Waterveen.

Suspect Martin is said to have committed the act when he and the deceased, along with others, were playing a Ludo game in the area.

Eyewitnesses to ELBC Correspondent that during the game, suspect Martin and the deceased, Ujay, reportedly got into a fistfight, at which time the suspect hit the deceased with a stick on his head.

According to them, after the hit, the deceased was rushed to the ArcelorMittal Hospital in Buchanan, where he died.

Our Correspondent said the body has been deposited at the Abraham Roberts’ Funeral Home in the County.
