Voter Registration Awareness Ongoing in Southeastern Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Nationwide civic voters’ registration exercises are taking place ahead of the Second Phase of the Biometric Voters Registration (BVR) in the remaining nine counties.

The National Elections Commission Grand Kru County Local Chapter on Saturday, April 15, 2023, launched civic voter education awareness in Barclayville.

According to ELBC Grand Kru County Correspondent, the awareness began with a grand parade through the principal streets of Barclayville City and climaxed with an indoor program.

Phase Two of the BVR is expected to take place in nine counties from April 21 to May 11.
The counties include Nimba, Grand Gedeh, Sinoe, Maryland, Grand Kru, Rivercess, River Gee, Bong, and Lofa.
