Marylanders Vow to Re-elect President Weah

MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-Citizens of Maryland County have vowed to reelect President George Weah in the upcoming Presidential and Legislative Elections.

According to ELBC Maryland County Correspondent, the Marylanders made the pledge on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, to Vice President, Jewel Howard-Taylor, during her citizen engagement dialogue in the County.

Speaking on behalf of the Marylanders, the County District-One Representative, Mike Jurry, told the Vice President that the decision of the people is based on the unprecedented development initiatives undertaken by the Liberian, during his first term.

The Maryland County Lawmaker underscored the reelection of President Weah to afford him the opportunity to complete ongoing projects.

Our Correspondent quotes Representative Jurry as expressing delight over the achievements by the CDC-led Government, amid limited external support.

Meanwhile, Vice President Taylor has commended citizens of Maryland County for their support to the second term bid of President George Weah.

VP Taylor urged officials of the County to encourage citizens to register during the Second Phase of the Biometric Voter Registration exercise expected to begin on April 21.

According to our Correspondent, the VP noted that being a registered voter will enable them to reelect President Weah to continue initiating more development programs in the County.

The Vice President also assured the people of Maryland County that the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Administration remains committed to providing basic social services for the citizenry, as well as improving the Country’s infrastructure.
