LOFA CPOUNTY,LIBERIA-The Standard Bearer of the former ruling Unity Party (UP), Ambassador Joseph Boakai, has donated five-hundred bags of  25kg rice and seventeen gallons of vegetable oil to Muslims in Lofa County.

According to ELBC Lofa County Correspondent, the items were presented to the Muslim Community by some officials of the former ruling party on behalf of Ambassador Boakai.

The Officials said:” The donation is the UP Standard Bearer’s way of identifying with Muslims in the region, as they observe the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Our Correspondent noted that the rice and oil were distributed among various districts in the County excluding Foya District.

According to our Correspondent, the UP Officials disclosed that the package for Muslims in Foya District is expected to arrive in Lofa County soon.
