GANTA, NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-A major conference geared towards transforming Liberia’s Education System gets underway in Ganta, Nimba County, today, Monday.

Deputy Education Minister for Instruction, Alexander Doupue, said:” The Joint Education Sector Review Conference will transform and highlight issues in the sector.”

Minister Doupue said the week-long conference will also look at other critical areas bringing together stakeholders and partners to chat a new front.

He said the former will enable the Ministry adapt a program based budget to operationalize the Education Sector Program from 2023-2027.

This year’s JESR Conference will be held under the theme: Transformative Education, the Fulcrum for National Development.
