MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority (NaFAA) has received a Collaborative Management Association Policy document on fisheries management.

Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF), an international fishery NGO, compiled and handed over the document NaFAA on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Monrovia.

The document guides the management of the fishery sector and partnership arrangements among stakeholders.

During the presentation, EJF West Africa Regional Manager, Cephas Asare, acknowledged the role played by NaFAA in the formulation of the document.

Mr. Asare said:” EJF will collaborate with the NaFAA to prioritize sustainable fisheries in Liberia.”

Receiving the document, NaFAA’s Acting Director General, Augustine Manoballah, said:” Developing such framework was key to the running of CMAs across the Country.”
