MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia is expected to provide a grant of about one-hundred-thousand United States Dollars each to more than hundred Liberian-owned businesses in agriculture.

According to Government, the businesses are involved with rubber, rice and animal farming, among others, in all the fifteen counties.

Deputy Finance Minister for Economic Management, Augustus Flomo, told Economic Hour on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, that forty-three businesses have already been approved, through a vigorous vetting process.
