Third International Community Health Workers Symposium Gets Underway in Monrovia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Third International Community Health Workers Symposium gets underway today, Monday, in Monrovia, with about seven-hundred delegates from around the world and Liberia attending.

Health Minister Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah said:” Liberia bided to host the event to help showcase more positive things about the Country to the rest of the world.”

Minister Jallah said the Country, being one of the leaders in community health program, will use the symposium to demonstrate what Liberia has done in improving community health and what it can learn from other countries.

The International Community Health Workers Symposium is being held on the theme:” Advancing Community Health Workers Program to Build Resilient and Equitable Health System”.
