Chief Justice Assures of Impartial Justice

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Chief Justice Sie-A-Nyene Yuoh has assured Liberians, especially political stakeholders that the Supreme Court will hear and dispose of all electoral disputes, amid the associated magnitude.

Justice Yuoh said:” The Court is committed to the dispensation of impartial justice, without fear or favor.”

The Chief Justice also cautioned party litigants, political parties or candidates to take advantage of the best prosecuting or defense lawyers who will act their interest in line with the law.

She warned political parties against deliberate and dilatory tactics to perfect their appeal or fast-track legal remedy to a dispute, the Supreme Court, through a motion from the opposing party, shall dismiss the case.

Justice Yuoh made the remarks on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the opening of the Supreme Court for its March Term.
