Students of Bomi County College Demand Dismissal of College’s President

BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-Students of the Bomi Community College are demanding the dismissal of the College’s President, Dr. Abimelech Gbatu.

It followed the alleged increment of registration fees and the administration’s move to dissolve the Student Council Government.

According to ELBC Correspondent, the students’ action disrupted normal academic activities on the campus of the college on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

The students have also given Dr. Gbatu a twenty-four hour ultimatum to reinstate the Student Council Government or risk continuous and indefinite protestation.

Meanwhile, Dr. Gbatu has asked the students to direct their complaint to the Board of the College, instead of disrupting normal academic activities at the college.
