MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-A man, believed to be in his forties, is being investigated in Maryland County for allegedly raping a six-year-old minor.

Police said the incident occurred when the father of the victim left her with grandmother to attend to some domestic issues.

It was at this point that suspect Junior Gbeayon reportedly abused the little girl sexually, during the night hours on February 15, 2023.

Medical report from the J.J. Dossen Hospital in Harper City has proven that she was tempered with.

Suspect Junior Gbeayon is, meanwhile, expected to the Harper Magisterial Court for trial.
