MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives has approved the Draft National Budget for fiscal year 2023.

The House, on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, passed the budget at seven-hundred-ninety-four-point-five-million United States Dollars.

It can be recalled that the draft revenue envelope for FY-2023 was submitted at seven-hundred-seventy-seven-point-nine-million USD.

Plenary, on Tuesday, followed a report from its Ways, Means and Finance Committee.

The Committee said as per the mandate of Plenary, it conducted a vigorous and thorough scrutiny of the budget for FY-2023, beginning with the Revenue Envelope.

Meanwhile, the instrument is pending concurrence by the Liberian Senate.
