MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has described effective communication as an important and effective tool in the promotion and enhancement of good governance.

 President Weah said:” Quality communication has become totally necessary to counter ‘deliberate and widespread misinformation’ invading the Liberian society and beyond.”

The President urged hierarchies of Government’s information dissemination structures to rise up and improve the quality of their communication skills, ahead of the 2023 elections.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to assuring that the electoral process is fairly and freely executed for the good of the Country’s peace and democracy.

The Liberian Leader was addressing a one-day Retreat of the Government of Liberia Communication Team held at the Farmington Hotel, in Margibi County at the weekend.
