MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has reaffirmed Liberia’s commitment to the “One China” Policy.

According to an Executive Mansion release issued recently, President Weah made the reaffirmation Tuesday, February 14, 2023, when Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, Ren Yisheng, paid him a courtesy visit at the Executive Mansion.

The Liberian Chief Executive assured Ambassador Ren Yisheng of continued bilateral cooperation between the two countries for the mutual benefits of their respective peoples.

Speaking earlier, Ambassador Ren Yisheng thanked the Liberian Leader and Government for the cooperation accorded him during his tour of duty in Liberia.

He also thanked the President for upholding and exhibiting the tenants of democracy and true value of leadership.

He pledged China’s continuous cooperation in the areas of agriculture, infrastructure development, and capacity building.
