Foreign Affairs Ministry Launches Revised Honorary Consul Regulations

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the Revised Honorary Consul Regulations of Liberia.

The document is geared towards tracking and evaluating the performances of individuals serving as honorary consuls, through periodic reports to the Ministry.

Serving as Launcher at the Foreign Ministry on Monday, February 13, 2023, Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah said:” The launch will attract revenue generation from foreign missions.”

Minister Kemayah added that the exercise will also compel honorary consuls to remit Government’s revenues generated from foreign missions.
