Criminal Court “B” Judge Refutes Public Claims that Judicial Officials are Corrupt

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court “B’ Judge has described as unacceptable public perceptions that judges are corrupt in the performance of their duties.

Cealineh Clinton Johnson said:” Party litigants and ordinary citizens often accuse judges when they pursue the truth and render justice.”

Judge Clinton Johnson also attributed the widespread corruption allegations against judicial officials to fixed public perceptions to unjustifiably taint the integrity of the judiciary.

According to ELBC Judicial Reporter, Judge Clinton Johnson made the remark on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the formal opening of Criminal Courts at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia.
