MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has expressed deep appreciation for thousands of Liberians who turned out across the Country to reaffirm their support for him.

President Weah said:” The decision to re-nominate him and the huge assembly of people over the weekend shows that Liberians appreciate the work I have been doing over the last five years.”

The Liberian Leader added that it is gratifying to have seen such convergence of people from various sectors of the society, including youth, women, traditional leaders, and first-time voters.

According to him, he will not take such demonstration of love and support lightly.

President Weah then assured that the Government will exert all efforts in the coming months to gain another constitutional mandate, in order to sustain the development drive across the Country.
